Journal of Hope was founded upon a loving purpose: to empower our youth by providing tools to help them develop self-awareness.
When founder Daiana Negrón was volunteering at a Connecticut middle school, she noticed the inability of students to self-regulate. A core method to monitor and manage emotions, thoughts, and energy levels. In 2018, Daiana made a commitment to enrich our youth through journaling. A simple tool that once carried her through some difficult times.
Daiana deeply believes in the importance of empowering youth to enhance personal development and creating a positive chain reaction that can impact the whole world. Daiana’s background in integrative medicine and spiritual healing is key to establishing authentic programming.
Journal of Hope has created mindfulness educational programming, with a focus on self-awareness, literacy, and social skills. It provides students with a language to understand and navigate the complexities of human emotions while learning lifelong coping and management skills to help them succeed in life. Journal of Hope offers students an opportunity to build core pillars on a solid foundation to enhance their experience in the real world.
Journal of Hope is a community where young people can unlock their imaginations and explore their feelings through the power of journaling. Keeping a journal is a great way to develop self-awareness while sharpening communication skills. Journal of Hope provides a judgement-free zone for youth to express themselves in a healthy and safe way.
AT JOURNAL OF HOPE WE VALUE …
We empower our youth by providing tools to bring about positive impacts in mental wellness, academics, and personal relationships.
